    Been out fishing lately?
    Any reports?
I have a hotel booked in kewaunee for the coming weekend and am wondering how the bite has been over there the last week or two? You been making it out?

Yes I am coming for sure. I would do the derby for sure.

Are you at all worried about the cold winter temps and ice delaying the good fishing?
I took my guys to green bay and was talking to a charter captain out there and he said it is going to take the water so long to warm up that the good king bite will probably not get going until end of July or August.

What do you think? And do you think the cohos will bite in the spring no matter what?

I am headed out to Port Wash on Labor Day weekend-

Anyone interested in doing a small derby like we did back in early June?

I would be fine doing it that Saturday, Sunday, or Monday (labor day)

Yep- I could care less myself about the contest as well- just spices things up a tiny bit. We just like fishing too.

    Thanks for the info.

I will PM you as we get a little bit closer

    I just bought a friends 2001 Hydra Sport 2600wa.
It was such a good deal I pretty much had to buy it.
It has been up on Lake of The Woods her whole life- which is nice- no great lakes and no salmon fishing.

Gettin her rigged up right now- I am hoping it will be ready to go in 2 weeks when we head out to port.

I am a rookie too, still learning everytime out. My brother and I started going (and doing ****ty) about 4 years ago and now we are starting to do okay.

It seems as though the most helpful thing for us is to just be out there with a few other boats so that if someone can put together a decent program we can try to duplicate it.

Although Port Washington last memorial wkend was about as easy as it gets last year.
Any thoughts on how the fishing will be that wkend we are talking about doing the contest?

Brian -- where is Port Washington in relation to St. Joe ?

Yeah I would be interested. My boat is so small I would need to get lucky with weather for me to fish it, especially to drive down there for a tourney. But yeah im interested.

    Small tourney sounds good- $25/boat.

We are not that good at fishing but have been doing okay- usaully the more boats the more info we can gather!!

I just bought a new boat so that will be her maiden voyage! Very Excited

I think these private messages behave oddly I just saw this message for the first time today
