    Thanks for the responses. I'm slowly upgrading from Cabelas reels. I've added several convectors and and a couple Daiwas. Makes sense to go to a higher quality reels for the light line...

    SeaCat, do you think 30# is overkill? After reading your response to the small boat DR question...The reason I chose 30# was so I didn't have to worry about clipping it to the planer boards.
