    Night Bite

I was curious if anyone has had any luck at night on Superior? I know first hand that they do over on Michigan but have never heard anything about over here (Duluth- North Shore). I tried (TH) over this past weekend with no luck. Any tips or there is no night bite?

I think this topic has come up before and if memory serves the answer was pretty much no.

Tip #1. Fish at night with glow and black baits.

Fact # 1 I prefer daytime fishing and am willing to learn from the pioneers, should I get chronic insomnia.

I have done very well fishing in the dark, superior fish are no different than lake michigan fish, run your same program with the same result. However, there are far fewer fish in superior and I only dark fish them when I have found them. I have pulled my last fish of the limit and been back to the marina as the others guys were just heading out. You will catch fewer trout in the dark too so that’s a plus !
