    Flat Out 2 ??

Does anybody know if the boat "Flat Out 2" is a charter or do they just fish in the tournaments? We have seen this docked in Manistee and Ludington a few times and my son and I are in love with this.. I am putting this on my bucket list to fish on. Any info would be great.

I don't remember the story on this but the guy developed some kind of flat bread product that was ultimately sold for big $$$ to a corporate entity...therefore the name "Flat" out. It's a private boat.

We were burning 100 gallons an hour while running fast,” noted Baker, adding that the 58-footer can achieve speeds of 50 mph. “I figure we went through around 700 gallons of fuel for the event.”

Wow. 700 X $5.00 plus, do the math. Rounding up, $3500 for $3,000 dollars prize money. Forgot about the $5,000 Don't know what to say. So $8,000 won - $3,000 spent.

In my opinion people with big boats like Flat Out 2, don't care really care about spending that kind of money for gas.
