    Cannibal Sandwich recipes?

Anyone have any good cannibal sandwich recipes?

(People call this by various names - Steak Tar Tar, yahacis, etc... Basically boils down to eating seasoned raw hamburger, but it sure is tasty) :)

Thats the general idea behind what we use... Mostly salt, pepper, onions, egg, green pepper maybe.. a few extra spices thrown in... Eat a chunk on a cracker, Very tasty indeed! Always a camp favorite!

Any other "special recipes" you guys know and are willing to share?

    :)

Remember that it's not just any "burger" or cut of meat. Us as lean a cut you can find such as Fillet mignon/tenderloin, or top sirloin.
been eating them as long as I can remember and I'm 40 now. Thanks to my Mom and Dad. I even served it as an hours d'vours (sp?) at my wedding and our guests DEVOURED them. No apprehensions there.

    RE: Cannibal Sandwich recipes?

Lived in Green Bay/De Pere area from 1958-1962. Heard all about cannibal sandwich but my folks wouldn't let me near it at smorgasbords. Anyway, one recipe came from Pat Frank's 1958 atomic aftermath novel Alas Babylon where the Korean War vet protagonist makes a cannibal sandwich from pumpernickel rye, raw ground sirloin, sliced onion, with horseradish & mustard. I substitute Texas Pete for the mustard and it comes out great! Go Packer Backers!
