    Morgans Super Copper Trolling Line

I was wondering which reel I would need and how much backer for this spool of Super Copper?

Some of you might have read about Morgans Tackle in last months issue. Its some great stuff and a really good company to deal with. We will now be carrying it at the store.

The bulk spools save a lot of money with copper more so than most other fishing lines
600' spool is between 40 and 55 bucks usually will do only 1or 2 rods

    3000' spool @ 195 = .07 cents per foot
    600' spool @ 50 = .12 cents per foot
The price difference will almost pay for the power pro backer

Bulk spools allow us to set up a lot of guys and save them money at the same time
Yes we sell the bulk spools as well for the guys that want to spool up them self's
This sport is expensive enough Bulk spools of copper is a great way to save some money
The little 300' spools are good for the guy that wants to try copper on one rod

How do you know how much line you're taking off if you use a bulk spool? Or anytime for that matter? Is there some type of footage counter that I dont know about that is available? Cause I could definitely use one!

The clip on line counters work. Sometimes its a hassle but saving $50-$100 it can be worth it.

We have a commercial line spooler that we use in the shop that makes it very easy. So bring in your reels and we could take care if it for you.

Can you snap some pictures so I can copy the line counter part? Thanks Ryan!

I use a 100' tape measure and mark lines on my driveway etc. A block of wood to hold the end comes in handy.
